Executive Director, Massachusetts

In this role, Justin oversees the strategy development and operational execution for our Massachusetts region.

Justin earned a Bachelor of Arts from Bowdoin College, completed the Institute for Nonprofit Practice certificate program through Tufts University, and earned a Master of Science in Nonprofit Management and Leadership from Northeastern University.

He discovered a passion for college access and success work while working as a College Coordinator at Harlem Children’s Zone in New York City.

After moving to Boston in 2009, Justin joined Bottom Line as a College Counselor, quickly falling in love with Bottom Line’s intensive, relationship-based, and data-backed approach to supporting students. As Bottom Line experienced significant growth, Justin had the opportunity and privilege to work in many different capacities. He spent several years managing and growing our Worcester office as Site Director, and the spent a year overseeing the Success program for the Massachusetts region as Success Program Director. Justin moved to Bottom Line’s National office to support Success work across the organization for two years before returning to his roots in the Massachusetts region as Executive Director in June 2016.

Justin strongly believes that a college degree is the closest thing we have to a silver bullet when it comes to addressing systemic inequity. He is inspired by the amazing accomplishments of our more than 3,500 college graduates. He remains driven to work towards ensuring that our current and future students have the same opportunities to succeed.
