Darreck Mitchell

Darreck is the Director of Capital Markets for Sunwealth, a solar renewable energy investment firm focused on the financing and development of impactful community based solar projects.  In this role, Darreck leads the firm’s tax equity capital raising and account management efforts across all client segments, which include high net worth individuals, institutions, and community banks. He also helps create and develop sales strategies, initiatives, and projects in collaboration with Sunwealth’s executive management team.  He has over 10 years of financial services and asset management distribution experience working with sophisticated investment advisors in developing portfolio construction, and wealth management solutions utilizing a vast majority of investment vehicles.

Prior to joining Sunwealth, Darreck held various leadership and sales roles at State Street Global Advisors, Columbia Threadneedle Investments, Santander Bank, and John Hancock Investments, respectively.

Darreck holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts-Lowell. He also holds the FINRA Series 6, 7, 24, and 63 licenses. In addition, he also holds a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor designation from the College for Financial Planning and is a graduate of The Partnership Inc. 2018 Fellows Program.
