Make a Lasting Impact as a Go Far Volunteer

Empower first-generation, low-income students to achieve their dreams. Whether you have a few hours or more to give, your time and support can help students get into college, graduate, and go far in life. Together, we can create brighter futures.

How Your Time Makes a Difference

As a Go Far Volunteer, you’ll become part of our vibrant community of staff, students, and fellow volunteers on Bottom Line Connect (BLC), our web-based networking platform. Through this platform, you’ll have the opportunity to mentor and support Bottom Line college students, providing valuable career guidance and professional insights to help them achieve their goals.

Supporting Students Through Bottom Line Connect (BLC)

We encourage meaningful, long-term connections by offering students the option to request a “Series of 3 Meetings” with a volunteer. This structured approach allows for focused support in key areas, fostering stronger, ongoing relationships that drive real impact.

While you can choose which meeting types you feel most comfortable with, being open to all options maximizes your potential to support and connect with students in meaningful ways.

Ways to Support:

  • Informational Interview
  • Resume Review
  • Mock Interview
  • LinkedIn Review
  • Cover Letter Review
  • Tips for Building & Leveraging Your Network
  • Starting Your Job Search (for college seniors/recent grads)
  • Succeeding in Your Internship or First Job

By offering your time and expertise, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting students navigating their college and career paths with confidence and clarity.
