Jeremy Strayer serves as the head of Trading Operations for bp refining and products trading in the Americas, headquartered in Chicago, Illinois. Jeremy’s team works with a wide range of companies, as well as other BP businesses, to transport commodities such as natural gas liquids, crude oil, chemicals, refined products, renewable feedstocks, and biofuels. His transformative leadership style has enabled him to successfully implement complicated initiatives to drive value. Jeremy works to incorporate his passion for social impact with his business insight by supporting bp’s many Business Resource Groups.  

Jeremy has over 25 years of industry experience in the areas of physical and financial trading, supply chain management energy risk management, corporate finance, international organizational structure, business change, capital project management, managerial consulting, and project engineering.  

Prior to joining bp, Jeremy was a technical consultant at Accenture and a Project Engineer at Honeywell. Jeremy holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
