Miranda Jones
Miranda Jones serves as VP, People and Culture at Bottom Line, where she leads the organization’s people strategy across a national, distributed team. She partners closely with senior leadership to build the infrastructure, standards, and culture that support Bottom Line’s continued growth and impact.
Miranda brings nearly 20 years of HR leadership experience within mission-driven organizations, including senior people roles at Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) and Planned Parenthood of Maryland. Across each organization, she has focused on building people functions that can scale alongside growth and change — standardizing operations, strengthening HR infrastructure, and creating consistency across multiple regions so that people strategy keeps pace with organizational ambition.
For Miranda, Bottom Line’s mission is personal as much as it is professional. She is a first-generation college graduate — the first in her family to earn not only an undergraduate degree, but an advanced degree as well — and has seen firsthand the difference that access to higher education can make across a lifetime. She carries deep pride in having nurtured that same pathway for her son, who recently completed his undergraduate degree and is now applying to veterinary school, continuing the generational momentum she worked hard to build. That lived experience is what makes Bottom Line’s work, helping students become first-generation college graduates themselves, more than a job for Miranda. It’s a continuation of her own story.
Miranda holds an MBA and a Bachelor of Arts in HR Management from the University of Maryland, College Park, and is currently pursuing her Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR) certification. She lives in Raleigh, North Carolina, with her son, her fiancé, and their two dogs. Outside of work, Miranda is an avid traveler who has visited more than 25 countries and counting.
