DAYTON, Ohio (WKEF) — As National First-Generation College Student Day approaches on Nov. 8, organizations in Ohio are spotlighting the impact a college education can have — and the support first-generation students often need to turn a degree into a meaningful career.

Bottom Line Ohio, a group focused on helping students succeed, is working with first-generation college students as they navigate higher education and plan for life after graduation.

Kay Lowe, Director of Development and External Affairs, and Alexandria Burns of Bottom Line Ohio are involved in the organization’s efforts to support students on the path to completing college and building careers.
